Computerised
Examination System -90-95% of Candidates covered under
computerisation at Central Computing Facility, around 178
exams processed per session (2 sessions per year), around 3.75
lakh students processed per year, Admission card gives complete
profile of the student for examination & Time table. Daily
Pasting (Seating arrangement report) helps in deciding the
number of class rooms, supervisor etc. required for the
examination.
CAP system is developed so that it
reduces mismatches which inturn reduces verification cases and
facilitates unbiased assessment. Use of new technologies – IVRS,
ICR, Intranet, etc. |
Convocation System
which interfaces two systems viz. Examination system done at CCF
and processing and printing done by outside agency. About
95,000 degrees conferred every year. Convocation is done in two
parts – annual convocation (upto convocation ceremony) and post
convocation (after convocation ceremony). |
Admissions –
The Centre handled centralised B.M.S., B.Sc.IT, B.M.M., M.M.S.,
B.Ed. admissions, M.Com. admissions & F.Y.B.A., B.Sc., B.Com.
for the remaining seats. |
Computerization of
Accounts section done for receipt cash book to do online
receipt printing. The system tallies day to day cash, Ipo, DD
and cheques transaction. The system is used to know the due
dates of FDR and interest calculation of FDR of university
investments in Trust, Funds. The over time register and
conveyance register of employees’ are computerized. The system
generates the letters to recover examination fees from defaulter
colleges. |
