University of Mumbai’s, Dharmveer Anand Dighe Thane Sub Campus is an institute that stands on the foundation of students distinct from the crowd, learning to groom their skills and being trained to their highest potential to meet the requirements of the dynamic corporate world.

The campus was established in 2014 with the objective of providing a focused and distinct academic approach to its integrated programmes, while nurturing students through structured learning, professional exposure, and skill-oriented development. Spread across six acres, the campus is equipped with technology-enabled classrooms, a library, computer centre, digital seminar hall, and other essential academic facilities that support a contemporary learning environment.

We offer two Five year Integrated Courses – Bachelors in Management Studies – Masters in Business Administration (BMS-MBA) and Bachelors in Business Administration- Legum Baccalaureus (BBA-LLB (Hons.)).

The curriculum of the BMS–MMS Five-Year Integrated Programme is designed in alignment with the National Education Policy framework, offering a flexible, industry-oriented, and multidisciplinary learning environment. The programme enables students to explore and adopt specialization pathways from the first year itself through carefully structured electives and subject choices in areas such as Finance, Marketing, Human Resources, and Marketing. Its course structure is closely aligned with contemporary industry requirements, thereby strengthening students’ domain knowledge, practical orientation, and employability from the early stages of their management education.

The BBA–LLB (Hons.) is a five-year integrated programme that combines the study of business administration with legal education, offering students a strong foundation in management, commerce, law, and governance. The course is designed to develop analytical ability, legal reasoning, professional ethics, and practical competence for careers in law, corporate practice, public institutions, and allied sectors.

The programme is supported by distinguished in-house and guest faculty from premier institutions such as IITs, IIMs, and other reputed academic institutions. The faculties bring strong academic, corporate, and research expertise, with professional experience in organisations such as SBI, CARE, Kotak Mahindra and many more. Several faculty members have also received research funding from bodies such as WRC-ICSSR, ICSSR, and IKS, and actively mentor students in developing academic, professional, and research credentials.

Students of the campus actively engage in internships with reputed firms and organisations, gaining practical exposure relevant to their academic programmes. They have also represented the University in diverse platforms such as Model United Nations, Youth Festivals, cultural and sports events, and other co-curricular activities, demonstrating their abilities beyond the classroom.

Courses and Admission

5-Year Integrated BMS-MMS (Management)

Offered by the School of Management Studies, this program provides a seamless transition from foundational management concepts (BMS) to advanced business administration strategies (MMS). The curriculum is designed with a strict credit-based evaluation system to align with current industry standards and regulatory academic frameworks (NEP 2020).

  • Duration: 5 Years (10 Semesters)
  • Intake Capacity: 60 Seats
  • Exit Option: Students may be awarded a BMS degree upon successful completion of the first three years (six semesters).

Eligibility & Admission

  • Academic Criteria: Candidates must have passed the Class 12 (HSC/CBSE/ICSE or equivalent) examination from any stream.
  • Minimum Marks: 45% aggregate for General Category; 40% for Reserved Categories
  • Entrance Examination: Candidates must qualify the Maharashtra Common Entrance Test for Management (MH CET BMS Integrated) conducted by the State CET Cell.
  • Selection: Based on the MH CET Management merit ranking through the CAP rounds.

5-Year Integrated BBA-LL.B. (Hons.)

The School of Law offers this rigorous dual-degree program combining business administration with legal education. Approved by the Bar Council of India (BCI), the curriculum integrates foundational management modules with core law subjects, preparing graduates for multifaceted careers in corporate law, litigation, and policy-making.

  • Duration: 5 Years (10 Semesters)
  • Intake Capacity: 120 Seats

Eligibility & Admission

  • Academic Criteria: Candidates must have passed the Class 12 (10+2) examination or equivalent from a recognized board.
  • Minimum Marks: 45% aggregate for General Category; 40% for Reserved Categories
  • Entrance Examination: Candidates must qualify the Maharashtra Common Entrance Test for Law (MH CET Law) conducted by the State CET Cell.
  • Selection: Based on the MH CET Law merit ranking through the CAP rounds.

Fee Structure

    Khwaish
    University of Mumbai, Thane Sub-Campus held its first Inter Collegiate Cultural Fest and Annual Utsav, organised by the students, providing a platform to more than 150 colleges to showcase their talent in diverse categories.

    Youth Fest
    This campus has hosted the University of Mumbai’s Youth festival engaging 35 colleges and concluding the occasion efficaciously.

    Moot Court
    School of Law conducts Fresher’s Moot Court Competition every year to guide and encourage the students to participate and inculcate knowledge of law on practical basis.

    Our college has always been boosting students to participate as well as organise cultural and academic events such as fresher’s gatherings, teacher’s day celebration and formation of Moot Court Association.

How to Reach

  • By Train: The nearest railway station is Thane Railway Station, approximately 6–7 km from the campus. You can reach the campus by taxi, auto-rickshaw, or TMT bus. Direct buses to the Runwal City Garden stop are available from Thane Station, followed by a short walk to the campus.
  • By Road: The campus is located on University Road, behind Runwal Garden City, Balkum, with convenient access from the Eastern Express Highway and Ghodbunder Road.
  • By Air: The nearest airport is Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport, approximately 25–30 km from the campus. Taxis and app-based cabs are readily available from the airport.
